HONG KONG CHURCH OF GOD WORSHIP CENTER
1/F Yan On Building, No. 20-22. Tai Wai Road, Shatin N.T.
In January of 2008, the HKCOG moved into its new facility after an intensive 3-year building campaign. This move would not have been possible without the generous assistance of individual donors and Church of God congregations from the United States.
Thank you for helping this dream become a reality. From here we hope to continue our growth in order to reach our city and our entire region for Christ.
THANK YOU!

Our new church is located just 2 blocks from the Tai Wai KCR/MTR station on Tai Wai's main street. Property prices in this area are expected to rise as a new mall and housing development are built above the train station. Look for the Church of God sign across the street from McDonald's.

The large Church of God sign points the way to our church. We are located directly above the Tai Wai branch of the Hong Kong Jockey Club on level two (1/F).
SANCTUARY

The building renovation was done by a local company and paid for the by the members of the HKCOG. Certain supporting churches in the United States have donated money to purchase furnishings. We thank them for their support. Pictured is the stage, pulpit, cross and screen.

The main sanctuary is in an "L" shape with the main stage in the corner of the "L." The church should at least be able to double in size with this building. To the right, windows into the P.I.T.S' offices are visible.

Two large video screens are located in the main sanctuary.

Pastor-in-training Janet and Isabelle greet people as they enter into the church.
OFFICES

The main office with three desks for the Pastors-in-Training. Two other PITS's are currently in seminary.
BATHROOMS

The new building has 3 bathrooms as opposed to two in the former building.
ROOMS

The various partitions (see red arrow) enable us to divide the sanctuary into smaller rooms. There is now room for 6-8 cell groups to meet at one time allowing us to grow from our current 22 cell groups. At our previous location, only 3 groups could meet at a time.

This sound proof partition has enabled our children to now have a bigger space to run around in during the worship service. This is the "A" room for children. (Also pictured below). Prior to this, up to 11 children and 4 adults were in a room that was 6ft by 10 ft.

This smaller "B" room will now serve as the classroom for toddlers.

In the corner is an area for storage and the sound booth.

The worship team was happy to get some new sound equipment.

Toward the front, the sanctuary widens out. On the far right, the baby room for mothers with infants is visible, but has not yet been set up |
